Death Happens

I’ve discussed my Certified Life Cycle Celebrant and friend, Holly Pruett, on my blog before.  She’s great in countless ways.  When you are in her presence, immediately you pick up the calm and compassionate air that surrounds her. A gift she generously shares.

Today, I read about Holly in Willamette Week, a Portland weekly newspaper. She is one of two women featured in the cover story: Meet Two Portland Woman Who Make Their Livings Talking about the Ultimate Taboo: Death.

Satisfied grin evolved to big smile when I read a short section that anonymously discussed my “Death Over Pizza Party”.

Take the time to read the full article here.

Kim, I’m glad you posted this update as it reminded me to pray for you every day. I encourage you to read Psalm 23 and John 14: 1 – 6 in the Bible. I pray that you will have FAITH in Jesus Christ, and that he would settle your heart and mind as you think about and talk about these things.

Aww, Kim, I appreciate the shout out. But first and foremost I am so glad that your example is out there to embolden and inspire countless others. You will never know the far shores reached by the ripples of your life. A deep bow of respect to you, my friend.
