Community Center

The last few weeks I’ve been slowly figuring out Google+.  I was on the hunt for a communication tool, so I asked around.  When one of pals said, “My grandmother uses Google+ to keep up with her friends!” I knew that would be the solution.  Why?  Because at times my brain feels quite aged.  If gram can get it, maybe, just maybe, I can too!

Today, I am going public with my private community on Google+.  This is a designated spot for other patients on an alectinib trial to communicate with one another.  I think it is going to be great for us alectinib takers to be in one place.  To date, 6 of us across the nation have been using email.  Honestly, trying to sort through my chain 38-emails long is a nightmare.  An upgrade needed to happen.

positively-ALK-BADGE-2I encourage alectinib pill takers to join this Google+ community.  What you need to do is…

  1. Sign up for a Google+ account.
  2. Log in to Google+.
  3. Search for Positively ALK community.
  4. Request to join community.

Alectinib users will be allowed access to the otherwise private site.
