Adios Twenty Twelve

I saw a cute card the other day.  It was along the lines of…

Dear New Years Resolution,

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

Sincerely,

January 2nd

I’ve never been a huge New Years Resolution person.  I’m a fan of constantly tweaking and modifying oneself.  I’ve said many times, “You should be the coolest person you know.”  Really, if you don’t like something about yourself, change it.  If you like something someone else does, adopt it.  Sounds pretty simple, right?

You are cool! I think at 50, I’m still cool too. I continue to drive my husband mad with RUSH cranked. Oh your so young, maybe you don’t know who they are! (when I am all alone, the air guitar magically appears!) Happy New Year Kimmy. Hopefully we will all do ok in the New Year, God willing.

You’ve spent many a year reminding me of this, and you were always great at making me believe it too, even when I didn’t. Thank you! Much love to you and SW on the Eve of the new Year!

  3. Kelly says:

For the record, YOU are the coolest person that I know.

Resolutions are supposed to make you feel good, never happened to me, I struggle to follow any rules even the ones I make myself :p New Year is when you feel something changes you are new and you feel like that might be September might be July or August doesn’t have to be January :p
Not to mention that most people are into seasonal depression these days how clear a decision can they make about their futures? :p
    Be well,
    love from Greeece
