Over the last few weeks I’ve been proudly stating, “I don’t need afternoon naps any more.”
A more accurate statement would be I’m not taking afternoon naps any more.
I’m not sure why it is but I attribute naps to being unproductive when the opposite is true. During a nap our bodies are restored and refreshed. Exactly what many of us need on a daily basis, me included.
I’m wondering what other good for me activities I’ve been skipping lately because I think they are unproductive. It is probably safe to say I’m skipping the activities that help me reprogram this kind of thinking.
