Saturday SW and I went to my friends for an Open House Party. To me this was a big deal. It was the first time I was going to a “Cancer Buddy’s” house to meet his “Well” friends and family.
The purpose of the party was to inform others that the treatment regiment was changing; support is needed.
What I saw at the party was an amazing group of people ready to bend over backwards for their friend and his family. It warmed my heart. I was relieved to see this fabulous support system and proud to be part of it.
I can’t speak on behalf of all people with life threatening illnesses but for me having a strong support team makes my hell of a situation bearable. Looking at the smile on my friends face last night, it made his day too. Support people, like those reading this blog, are a critical component to our lives. Thank you for taking this job on and making it a priority in your life. Please continue it as long as you can.
I pray for you everyday!
Thank you Melanie!
Beautifully said. Thinking of you every day!
Love your blog Kim!
Thank you! Let me know if it starts to suck and I’ll make changes. 🙂
You have support whenever you want it! Thanks for being you.
