My appointment with Dr L went surprisingly well. I did go in with pretty low expectations because often doctors have a talent for bringing me down. I understand my oncologists don’t want to give false hope but in doing so they tend to destroy all hope.
Overall the appointment was very positive. We discussed:
- The next PET scan to see if I’m cured of Adenocarcinoma will take place in the middle of September. All my physicians are eager for results. (Me too!)
- I am medically cleared to see my hygienist for a teeth cleaning!
