Week 2 of cancer treatment has come and gone!
Last week I felt all over the place. The only thing consistent with each day was, that it was unlike the day before. My body is slowing reacting to both chemotherapy & radiation and it is not really all that enjoyable.
Some things I learned during this inconsistent week-
1. Steroids make you think you feel good and have lots of energy. When you stop taking them you will hit the wall. (Sounds like an after school special?)
2. Life must be lived. Waiting around to see if you “get sick” is a waste of time.
3. Health matters. Your level of health especially matters BEFORE you get sick. This topic is worthy of a standalone post- stay tuned.
4. Telling sales clerks that your shopping spree is because your celebrating the successful completion of your 1st Chemotherapy round generates shocking responses.
